Again this morning, SketchUp is crashing automatically—old file , new file, everything. Do I need to give him coffee to wake up?
I don’t know what makes it crash…
Any cue? Did I install some new plugins ?.. I’ve been running since April on the minimum I need, and all is verified from SketchUp; the only thing I made different (I think) is I use one file with ambient occlusion and made a Windows update.
You’re still using SketchUp 2024?
Are you getting Bug Splats? Are you sending in the reports with your name and email address attached?
Hi Dave, Thanks to reply
No, 2025, i dont even have time to get the Bug Splats, everything close in the same time.
Please correct your forum profile.
Did you install SketchUp correctly by right clicking on the installer and choosing Run as administrator? Have you installed the patch that was released yesterday.
Known to screw with graphic drivers.
Hum, i did a sketchup update, i thing a few day ago , but no for the patch, i guest i can find it somewere
You can find it here: Download All | SketchUp | SketchUp
After downloading it, right click on the installer and select Run as administrator.
Also, @Box makes a great point. You should update the graphics drivers by getting them directly from nVidia. After updating but SketchUP and the graphics drivers, do a cold reboot of your computer.
Thanks Dave ! il will get back to you
Yesss, it works, but am french and dind’t see the run as administrator, so dind’t work , so i uninstall 2025 then restart and then reinstall, and now it working.(or seem to work…)
