After importing a 3d warehouse item into my model - sketchup crashed and cannot see the model at all when I open it up again

I can only see my model from far away where it is crashing when Im trying to zoom in- please help me see the model again. I have tried zoom extends, and Hide rest of the model as found online.

My model after crash now appears blank.

What version of SketchUp are you using? You put 2024 in your forum profile but that can’t be.

The Camera is located at a huge distance from the model and there’s some giant objects in the model space. I’m working on fixing it.

Open the Outliner. Find two components labeled JPD080C. Delete them.

Guess I can stop now.

Wouldn’t hurt to purge the unused stuff from the file, though.

Those seem to be the offenders, they have enormous bounding boxes with geometry way off the origin… The file behaves normally once they are gone. This is assuming the user is really on Pro and has access to the outliner.

Sorry, mistaken with the Autocad. It is 2023 version of Sketchup Pro

Thank you so much!
It is working perfectly now
For the future, when do I purge the unused stuff? What is the command?

Please correct your forum profile.

FWIW, when you download objects from the 3D Warehouse, download them into a separate SketchUp file so you can check them out to make sure they are suitable. Fix them if they need it or reject them if they aren’t suitable. When they are suitable copy them and paste them into your project file.

Purge your model before you save. You can go into Model Info>Statistics and click Purge Unused.
