"Add Location" doesn't get the right coordinates

Hi All,

When I enter coordinates I copied from Google Earth, the Add Location function takes me to the wrong place. It’s usually within 100 miles, but it’s still annoying when I teach students.

For example, if I enter 25°48’39.32″S 27°55’31.29″E in GE it takes me right to the building I want, but if I put it into the Add Location search window, it takes me several miles north of where I want.

Am I missing something?

Hi @SuzyQ

You may have better luck using decimal degrees
Try this…

25.811115S, 27.925261E

Unfortunately, it takes me to the same highway several km north of the
building I want to model.
