Add curved corners to tray

making progress, but now the follow me is not related to the base piece, the new piece resulting from using it is not restrained by the original dimensions, I want the new formed piece to be 900mm by 1200mm, but its using the 900 by 1200 base as th3e infill.

A strange rule of thumb, generally if the radius of the path is equal to or greater than the profile radius you will get these overlaps that can be an issue to fix. Best to use a smaller radius so that the follow me doesn’t run into itself at the apex.

The size is determined by the relationship of the profile to the path, not necessarily the path itself.
Define your Path then align the Profile above it.

finally got there! now to export to prusa slicer. . .

You need to reverse the inner face, you should only see white for a solid.

Back again! started again as I need the corners far less rounded. I started with the base, nice tight rounded corners. but with the same on the profile. it does not follow nicely. any ideas why?

ends in this

Frustrating lol

As I said above.

thnaks, i got it… for now lol

ok. Now I managed to get the tight corners back by aligning with the base, I now have the other issue of odd holes in the corners. You said to do the above to resolve this so that’s how I ended up not align it. I presume there is an optimum way to align so I don’t get any of these issues.

it seems that according to youtube this is due to messy edges, but the toll to repair them is an extension to the downloadable version, I’m using online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74nhQ35X4Tc

After hours and hours, I discovered the issue!! Segments in arcs…increased them to 100, and no more artefacts!

Box, if you have a minute, how would you add curved corners to just the front two bottom corners of this? Its a curved 20mm radius in one plane, but on this front edge id like it in two.
