When I select the 3D Text, the dialog box doesn’t display and Sketchup remains frozen… Does anyone have a solution for this problem ?
It seams the window is off screen.
Follow this guide exactly: After you clicked on the 3D Text icon (or tried opene it from menu)
- Hold down the ALT key. Hit SPACEBAR.
- Release ALT key
- Hit M (Move).
- Hit one of ← ↑ → ↓ arrow keys
- Move your mouse around (without pressing any mouse key) until you see the missing window.
- Press left mouse button on the desired place
( Note I assume you have English windows otherwise you may need to replace “M” with a localized start letter, e.g. “L” in French)
The dialog box is probably off screen.
There is a trick to move it around untill you can see it again, although I don’t know how to do it myself…
It is usefull to provide your screen(s) setup and if you use a docking station for this kind of problem.
I’m sure someone will step in soon to tell you the trick!
