3DText properties dialog window disappears

When I click on 3-d text the box to type in the text does not appear. I use two monitors and I suspect the box is off screen somewhere but I don’t know how to find it and bring it back. Can anyone help?

First try Window>Preferences>Workspace>Reset workspace.

Did that, no success

Then try:

  1. Click Window > Hide Dialogs.
  2. Click Tools>3D Text
  3. On your keyboard, press Alt+Spacebar. Let go, then press the letter M.
  4. Tap one of the arrow keys once.
  5. Then, without clicking any mouse buttons, move the mouse from side-to-side and up and down, and see if the missing dialog does not appear on screen. If it does, position it where you want it, and click the left button.

Thank you thank you. The box was hanging out just below both of my screens. I’m back in business

Thanks for posting this. This happens when I switch screens around - which I do, so I’m commenting here to make it easier to find for the next time.
