Thank you. This suggestion had mentioned before. I will add it as a priority for the next update and add function to link object data with an external database (like Excel file) as two-ways binding.

Hi @Cyentruk - we are experimenting with AutoInfo. So far - lovely. 
However, I can’t get it to display the amount of selected elements of a component to display. What could be wrong? (“Menge” in German…
Did you try to change the preset from Default to Windows & doors?

I am having some trouble with Auto Info not remembering my settings changes for units. Does it remember these settings per sketchup file or is there a common json file that it looks at when sketchup starts?
Also, a lot of times when I select entities in the model, they aren’t reflected in the info table. It seems to be random when this happens, but it might have something to do with how it reads dynamic components. I know that’s not very specific. I can share a file if you want.

@Cyentruk I use Sketchup 2021 Pro. Is that going to hinder my using these extensions in future? I don’t have plans to subscribe to the newer Sketchup as yet…Thanks

It utilizes the new overlay feature, so I wondered if there would be compatibility issues as well. When I start hearing, “nice, everything works like it did 3 years ago now,” I’ll probably think about updating. But I’ve tried several times to move to the latest version only to find that some features and extensions I was using were either broken or removed. Hearing users complain about bugs and crashes never helps either. I am liking the new engine though. I have a default instance of 2024 running on a work PC. Sad to say with bare minimum extensions (4 or 5) I’ve seen it splat immediately on startup, only to run immediately on the second try. I’m just worried about installing everything just for it to not work like it does on 2022.

Currently, 5D+ Auto Info still support 2021 and above, no overlay is applied.

I’m not sure about update versions in the future. But you can save the install file that works best for you.
@Cyentruk thanks for the response. On that note, when I select a component with components inside of it (Windows/ Doors from FlexTools plugin) they don’t show up in the list. Components with groups inside seems to work but Dynamic Plugins don’t seem to work.

I’m just learning how to use Auto Info so I’m not sure if it was working before this update.

I’m trying to make a simple cabinet door ordering list. 5D+ Auto Info finds the 4 doors, and reports the correct size for each, but the image and label names are incorrect. (should be A, B, C, D).
And this is a video showing autoinfo reading each component individually, but blank when I select all components.

The selector is a feature from 5D+ Plus extension.
After using Selector to auto select object by Selector, I call 5D+ Auto Info to create schedule table if detect there is this extension is installed in your SketchUp.
5D+ Auto Info itself can report by select objects you want first without install 5D+ Plus. So, it’s not related to your question about the update of 5D+ Plus.
