Add Abilitity to 'Dock' HtmlDialogs

I was just wondering if that could be achieved by creating a custom tool and showing your HTML in the instructor? Or perhaps (potentially a bad idea?) even override the instructor for the standard tools like the select tool. The problem that I for see is no action callbacks or other methods. It wouldn’t seem hard for SketchUp to add an HTML panel similar to an HTML dialog. [image]

In my case that isn’t the perfect solution because I need my inspector window open while the user is using the standard SketchUp select tool. It is a neat idea though.

Hi @Cyentruk → I am experimenting with this extension by rebuilding one of our oldest models from scratch (our production plant). There is a very nice proposal for tag structure that comes with the plugin. I assume it has something to do with 5D+ Plus. I would stick to your standard Folder-Structure (1. CONTEXT, 2. SITE, … , ! Information, basic, etc.)

Does it make a difference if I rename the English tags to German equivalents? So “2. BUILDING” becomes “2. GEBAEUDE” or would that mess up whatever you have setup in 5D+ Plus that I still want to crack…

You have all free to set your tags as you wish. 5D+ Plus latest version allow you setup your custom tags as default when creating elements by the extension, such as: labels, dimensions, grid and storeys. Please go to Custom Settings, there is a new tab called “Tags” to do that.

Hello.
I love the dual abilities to pick&drop both materials and tags. Very smart. Very fast!

However, the tab key appears to be non-responsive in picker mode - I was not able to pick the name of the outermost group (in my example: “A.WALL”)

Am I doing something wrong?

when picking&dropping materials with the eyedropper tool, is there a way to retain the texture position/rotation?

Hi, in the latest version of Auto Tag (which is included auto-update feature), I have fixed some bugs related to non-responsive when using sample tool. I have also removed “material” sample tool from Auto Tag (I want Auto Tag is all about tags), now material sample tool will be used in 5D+ Library only.
