I am attending next week and will be staying at the Venetian. This will be my second basecamp. I attended in Vancouver which was fantastic. This year it feels like there are a lot of overlapping sessions for me. It’s hard to decide what I want to attend.
I am arriving on Sunday around lunch time if anyone wants to meet for dinner or a drink on Sunday, especially any fellow PowerCadd users.
I downloaded the app. It looks good at first glance, nice to see my schedule

My new machine running SU 2024 won’t run PowerCADD 9, so I won’t have that with me. It is running PowerCADD 10 Beta, but being a Beta, it’s not for show and tell as far as I know.

When can we know the results in the “Out of This World AR Competition”? I will not be able to attend the 3D Basecamp in LA 
The results came in and the finalists were notified. You should have received an update since we last spoke from another team member (they may have been busy prepping so many things for Basecamp) that we had moved the winning models into the technical testing phase to ensure they’ll work/display perfectly this week.
That said, I’ll be sure to post some updates once the conference and AR Exhibition & Lounge officially open tomorrow. Congrats again!

I enjoyed your class very much last Basecamp. I’ll certainly come find you at one of your sessions, we can have another good laugh at all the terrible “good ideas” made in performance center design. 
Has anyone figured out how or where to download a list of all classes SketchUp related. Maybe a spreadsheet or a graphic representation? I’m waitlisted for a few classes and trying to best fill my time so I was hoping to have a usefull doc of everything going on at any given time so I can make some last min decisions and crash sessions that I think might be interesting. I’m finding the online search tools cumbersome and the info buried in the much larger list of general Trimble sessions.
I have the app and can see the schedule there, by searching for the word SketchUp I can filter for just Basecamp ( I hope, assuming every basecamp session has the word SketchUp in its title?). But the resulting list is not in a temporal order, the times are all mixed up so it’s challenging to discover what’s happening at any given time.
Any tips on best navigation this years Basecamp? Perhaps from the organizers?

I’m just about to head over to the registration actually – and saw your plea for advice on how to download session info! Totally agree – it’s not as helpful as 2022 …

I think adding things my my schedule in the app just adds them to the schedule? Where do I actually know if I’ll be allowed to attend a class or not?
Edit: the info desk has told me that adding the classes to the schedule does indeed add you to the list. I was just confused because it hasn’t told me no yet.
In the schedule tab of the app, I believe classes turn blue if you are in and stay white if you’re waitlisted? Still struggling to navigate the system.
Correct. I was just getting really lucky with my adds so I assumed it wasn’t the right way.
Now I’m just having trouble separating the SketchUp from the other, like everyone else.
Just walk in and sit down.
