-Hello,
I’m trying to use Sketchup via Trimble Identity
I’m using a Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra on Android 15, One UI 7 on the chrome app. I’m testing the free version. I cannot use zoom, pan, rotate with touch or active pen. I’ve tried both inputs available (mouse and trackpad). Two fingers touch doesn’t do anything. I try to use the Pen, and no luck either. Right now it’s using the classic graphic engine because the other wasn’t working. When I tap on the dimensions field on the bottom right, I cannot open an edit Window so I cannot change the measurements of the object I just drew.
I wouldn’t mind paying for a premium subscription. But I need to know the features work on an Android web app and I won’t need to open the desktop for it to work.
Can anyone advise?
Ron
Hi ron2k_1!
I’m Gray from SketchUp’s User Experience team.
I’m actually investigating how we might improve the SketchUp for Web experience on mobile and touchscreen devices! I’d love to hear more about what you’d like to see and any features you think would be beneficial to your on-the-go workflow.
I’d like to schedule a 30-45 minute call via Google Meets to discuss your SketchUp workflow and overall experience across various platforms. I’ll ask you some questions about how you currently use SketchUp and any pain points you’ve encountered in regards to interacting with your models on mobile browsers and other devices.
Please note that these meetings will be recorded and the recording is solely for internal use and documentation purposes.
If you are interested, please book a time for us to meet here in the coming weeks.
Please note that I am in the Mountain Standard Time timezone, so time differences may occur.
Thank you!!
Best,
Gray
