I dont know how this all works but im desperate so my model is tiny and it wont let me zoom back in and i have a submission tomorrow so i need to to get it back asap ! Any advice would be greatly appreciated for a struggling student

Attach your .skp file so we can have a look. Download the file from Free to your computer then drag and drop the file into a response window. If it’s too big even after purging you may need to use a file transfer service and post the link here.
It’s likely that your model is still present and recoverable.
