Windows Taskbar Icons Customised

I have long been frustrated at how the default taskbar icons for SketchUp and Layout in Windows look so similar. I find it too easy to click the wrong one and then have to patiently wait for the wrong application to load before re-trying the correct icon. I really have to look closely and remember which is which to make the right selection.
To fix this I’ve created my own taskbar icons for windows. These are so much easier to distinguish. I really don’t know why Trimble hasn’t ever changed these.
I’ve attached here screenshots of the old and new, along with links to download the ico files from my google drive. You can easily google the instructions to install them if needed.

Yeah I think that Trimble really messed up with the icons, the ones redesigned in 2014 were perfect, the same with the tool icons, there are a lot of people, including me, that preferred the old icons, they tried to fix something that wasn’t broken. I don’t think they’re going back but I really hope they make a redesign and add the long requested dark mode. They should stop developing AI features and develop what people has requested.
