Windows Server 2016 not supported?

Hi.
I’am new with sketchup and trying to learn .

I try to install the trial version of Pro in windows 2016 standard vm on workstation 15.

I get the error message
“error en el paquete Sketchup: Es sistema operativo no es adecuado para ejecutar Sketchup 2020”

does it mean that Windows 2016 is not compatible? or Virtualized environments?

In adition: is there a linux version ??

I’m not sure about W(Server?) 2016
Linux is not supported (There is some info here about Linux…)
(However Not Supported is not equal to not run )
