Then I import the component into a new file with a box and try to install it and it seems to have lost all of it’s properties.! Even if I attempt with clean version.

Did you save the component from your In Model to a local collection in the Components panel?

Here’s what I get. It appears your window is properly made. First, I created a local collection for your window. To do that, click on the Details menu button to the right of the search magnifying glass. Choose Open or Create a Local Collection. Create a new folder, select it and open it. This is shown in the secondary pane of the Components panel while In Model is shown in the top. And this is with your file open.
After dragging the thumbnail from the top to the bottom:
New file. First window brought in from DFrost Windows. The rest dragged in from the In Model collection.
Works perfectly for me.

Me again. I was able to make the local collection folder. I don’t follow how get both panels to show as you have.
