Why sketchup No tablet version?

The problem is not Android, it’s as you said, Android ‘devices.’ There are so many different manufacturers with varying degrees of quality, support, speed, etc…it makes it difficult to ensure SU will be first compatible, and second, efficient across that the devices. As usual, you beat me to it DaveR. There are too many tablets out there that are running android for us to even know where to look to run SketchUp. If you are dead set on running SketchUp on a tablet, an iPad is your best bet as it gets official support.

Unofficially, I have seen some people get some versions of SketchUp to run on devices and operating systems that we do not officially support but as they are not officially supported we can’t help you with that nor would I recommend it.

I suppose if you are dead set against an iPad, and I can understand why that may be the case given their price, you could get a tablet or touchscreen laptop that runs windows and see if that works for your workflow although without knowing more about your workflow I can’t really say if that is a good idea or not.

At the end of the day, it is up to you to decide what is right for you, be it an iPad, other tablet or something else entirely.
