Why is SU 2016 crashing when I start it in OS X 10.11.5? I've already updated all versions

I’ve downloaded the trial version but it crashes when I press the start button.
Already tried deleting files from library & reinstalling SU but it still won’t start.

You have Intel HD3000 integrated graphics ?
These old graphics chipsets are not recommended for use with SketchUp.

You might get it to start if you can find a way to switch off OpenGL hardware acceleration for SketchUp.

I’m confused…what model Mac do you have to have only the Intel HD3000 graphics?

According to the Intel page these would be 2nd Generation iCore machines.

But they are supposed to have OpenGL 3.1 support.

@saskookt, try updating your graphics drivers if possible. (Does Mac allow updating ?)
