I am running SU2017 and i keep having issues with my toolbar reverting back to an old setup. After i get the toolbar set up how i want it I’ve tried saving the file, saving as a new file and saving as a template and none of them do the trick. What do i have to do to get my toolbar to stay the same for every file that i open?
This sounds like an installation problem. When you installed SU2017, did you right click on the installer and choose Run as administrator?
i guess i don’t know for sure. It seems like it has just happened recently though. Should i try removing it and reinstalling with clicking run as administrator? Where does this come up when i am installing it?
The proper way to install SketchUp is using Run as administrator. I would try running it that way, now. Don’t uninstall. Just re-run the installer and choose the repair option when it is offered.

… THEN close SketchUp so it writes the settings to the registry (Windows) or plist (Mac.)
