I am using a mac running latest version of Sequoia and with latest version of SketchUp Pro. Intermittently, when I select the dimension tool and try to make a measurement between two points (intersections of lines) no points can be selected. There is no indication that the little pencil can select any point. If I save, close the file, and reopen it , the selection tool now will work.

When you get the issue, try left-clicking to Finder, and left-click back into SketchUp, see if the inferencing then works ok.
