Hi @jguttman, thanks for the post. I am happy to work with you to get this resolved. Before we get started though I’ll need a few things from you. Specifically I need to know your domain and if you are higher education or not. As you already shared your domain, you are already halfway there! Also a link to your website is helpful but optional.
Let me know the info I need and we can figure out how to proceed next!

Higher education.
Ah, thanks for getting back to me so quickly. SketchUp for Schools is not available for higher education schools as it was designed exclusively for k-12 schools. If you are interested in SketchUp for your faculty or students, we offer huge discounts on the full Pro version for the educational market.
Generally, we find that students in k-12 environments will be able to get a lot out of the SketchUp for Schools version we offer them but once students are going into a higher education environment, they start to need more than what we can offer via the web version. The higher education students tend to start wanting to do more complex modeling with extensions and custom tools. Some will even start wanting to look into rendering. With all that said, we find that the student licenses we offer are far better suited for the kind of work they will be doing.
If you are interested in getting licenses I would recommend reaching out to one of our reseller partners as they handle our educational licenses. You can locate your reseller partener here:
