Are you asking about SketchUp for Schools?
Yes, I am trying to enable SketchUP for schools for my domain
Ok. Moving to the SketchUp for Schools section of the forum so the right people see this.
Thanks TheOnlyAaron for moving the post to the right section. I’ll get this resolved as soon as I can.
As for you @plwall. I am happy to work with you to get this resolved but I need to know if you are a higher education school or a k-12 school as that will affect how we proceed. Can you please let me know one way or another so we can get started?
We are a higher education school.
Thanks for getting back to me @plwall. I appreciate it. SketchUp for Schools is not available for higher education schools as it was designed exclusively for k-12 schools. If you are interested in SketchUp for your faculty or students, we offer huge discounts on the full Pro version for the educational market.
Generally, we find that students in k-12 environments will be able to get a lot out of the SketchUp for Schools version we offer them but once students are going into a higher education environment, they start to need more than what we can offer via the web version. The higher education students tend to start wanting to do more complex modeling with extensions and custom tools. Some will even start wanting to look into rendering. With all that said, we find that the student licenses we offer are far better suited for the kind of work they will be doing.
If you are interested in getting licenses I would recommend reaching out to one of our reseller partners as they handle our educational licenses. You can locate your reseller partener here: Find a SketchUp Reseller – Connect With a SketchUp Partner | SketchUp
