This is not a big deal … and it may be a problem with my Windows 10 machine, but when in Windows, after opening the 3D Warehouse, when right-clicking on “3D Warehouse” in the upper left corner, a menu opens … one that includes the typical Restore, Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize and Close options. But some where along the line the Restore, Minimize and Maximize quit working.
I can still resize the Window by grabbing the edges … and I can grab the 3D Warehouse Window and move it around … but no minimizing or maximizing.
Is this a SketchUp “thing” … a Windows 10 “thing” … or a problem with the SketchUp installation on my machine? I am in the process of moving over to a new Windows 11 machine … and installing SketchUp 2025 Pro … so all this may be moot.
Can you screen shot exactly what you are refering too…
I just opened 3DWH and I have the typical windows controls but I have never Right Clicked on the “3D Warehouse” on the left side for any action before ? I am puzzled.
Thank you for the “wake up call.” This appears to be a browser related issue … compounded by what might be best described a “slightly confused” installation of SketchUp 2024. Am hoping all of this will be resolved when I move over to my new (new to me anyway) Windows 11 machine and SketchUp 2025.
It seems a little interaction between SketchUp and Windows 10. Perhaps the window control options (Restore, Minimize, Maximize) are not responding because Windows just doesn’t know quite how to handle this embedded 3D Warehouse browser window inside SketchUp.
This isn’t a common SketchUp “thing,” but I have seen others hit by the same problem on occasion—mainly on older versions of Windows or when some updates or settings wreck window rendering. So, since you’re transitioning to a new Windows 11 machine and SketchUp 2025 Pro, my bet is this issue will go away by doing a fresh install.
