The common reason is the graphics card and/or its drivers don’t adequately support OpenGL. Try turning off Fast Feedback in Window>Preferences>OpenGL. Then try updating the graphics drivers. Also check to see which GPU is actually running SketchUp. Make sure you correctly installed Sketchup, too. That requires right clicking on the downloaded installer then clicking on Run as administrator.
