[Wanted] Huge 3D Models (fbx) for VR

Hi,

I’m developing a VR system for CAD/BIM applications in construction. The solution specifically aims at visualizing HUGE 3D models. By huge I mean at least 1Gb fbx files excluding textures, so models with lots of meshes. I’ve tested the system with over 250.000 meshes.

I’m looking for more test cases and/or demo cases for my project. If you have a (construction) model of over 1Gb (the larger the better! Preferably an industrial installation, no textures) I will make you a VR flythrough app for free on the condition that I can use your data in demo’s.

I don’t think I’ve even seen a Sketchup model that big. This is probably the biggest model I’ve made and it’s only 80-90 MB big: Julia Christina Eneroth (download in lower right). Maybe it can be useful anyway. Perhaps you can copy the content of it a few times so you can look out a window and see the same building in the distance :stuck_out_tongue: .
