Vray Tree Shadows only

My firm is really particular about accurate tree shadows in renderings and insist on rendering the trees in straight from sketchup. I think the trees look flat and silly when rendered in there and would much rather photoshop the trees in. Is there any way in Vray (perhaps through the wrapper texture) that I can get Vray to render in the shadows without the trees so I can just photoshop the trees in after-the fact?

Have you reached out on Chaos Group’s own forum? They’re all Vray users so they should be able to help.

BTW, you need to be using SketchUp Pro.
