Vray sketchup pro- troubleshooting

Vray is driving me mad. It wasn’t working on my macbook eventhough it was working fine the week before. I couldn’t solve the problem so i reset my laptop back to factory settings and reinstalled Sketchup and Vray. It’s basically brand new now.
Downloaded vray and STILL there is an error message. I feel so frustrated! I would give up all together with the thing but I have a deadline and I’m close to finishing it. I just need to render a few more scenes.

PLEASE HELP.

Also downloaded previous versions still no luck. Have 2024 Sketchup Pro subscription. I just tried to click on the chaos in my applications and it comes up a ‘Java script error occured in the main process’

Have you contacted support for Vray at Chaos Group?

Note that the SketchUp Pro subscription does not include Vray. You could upgrade to a Studio subscription or contact Chaos Group to purchase a Vray license.

Yeah I’m doing a trial of the VRAY. There seems to be nothing but problems.

and yes I have but all the suggestions they gave me are not applicable to my macbook/ haven’t worked

You should have indicated that in your original post.

How long ago did you start the trial? Has the trial period ended? Reinstalling SketchUp won’t restart the trial.

Contact Chaos Group’s customer support and have them help you with the the license server issue.

Started the trial last week. It expires in April so still time left,

I have contacted them but never heard anything back. This is why i’m on here as I’m worried about my deadline.

Well, if they can’t help you I’m not sure what we can do. Might be worth considering that the EULA for Vray’s 30-day trial allows you to use it for evaluation and demonstration but not for commercial use.
