I use Sketchup Make and need to calculate the buoyancy of a float I drew up… Make does not do it and ask If anyone here could guide me to installing an add on or take the file and do it for me? I do not use Sketchup very often and Make usually handles what I need to do.
Make will show you a volume in Entity Info if you’ve created a solid group or component.
You don’t need an add-on. If you share the file with us we can help.
Presumably you are using this in a hobby capacity so as long as SketchUp Make works, go for it.
By the way, please complete your forum profile with SketchUp version. Are you still using Windows 7 and a Radeom R7 graphics card?
Updated my profile ( I think ) and the float in question.

Looks like a float for an airplane. In order to be able to get the volume of it, you’ll need to clean it up and make it a solid group or component. First you’ll need to correct the face orientation. There must be no exposed blue back faces like this has on the bottom.
There are issues with a number of the edges in your object. Are you wanting the nose section to be included in the volume calculation? Currently it is loose geometry and it also contains a lot of unneeded stray edges and faces.
Get and install Solid Inspector and Solid Inspector 2 from the Extension Warehouse. They will help you identify what is preventing this from being a solid object.
I deleted and redrew some of the geometry to clean it up and made the nose piece a separate solid object. You can see the volume of one or the other in Entity Info when you select it.

Look closely at the objects and compare them to your original model.
WOW, I had some errors I couldn’t see. Thank you so much for guiding me in this… Thar be VOLUME now… I owe you a bowl of chicken and sausage Gumbo if you are ever down this way.
I’d love to take you up on that gumbo.
Good luck with your project.
