Hello! I’m new to the 3D world, and this site/tour caught my eye and made me want to do something similar for my family business:
The closest thing I found is Enscape for Sketchup, but it will only render 360 panoramas photos without the ability to move like in the link above. What will be the easiest way to do something similar? Also, is it possible to move tour with WSAD or arrows on a keyboard?
Enscape will allow export of both .exe of full models, all rooms, walk around, vr, etc. as well as web hosted virtual worlds with collaboration and notation ability. They, however, do not have the ability to change materials live like this engine had.
My local rep told me there are some very exciting things coming down the pike for the next release or two of enscape after the merger with chaos group. You might get this functionality in those releases, but IDK.
Just took the free trial, but I’m not very happy with the customization options. I tried with a model from 3dwarehouse and the render/tour is great, but there is almost no option for editing web exports, except load screen and title I would like to turn off “fly” mode and other options that I don’t need. Also looks like it’s only possible to host it on their server.
The Shapeshark trial version works great so far. It is a bit pricey (need to get Plus membership $99/mo to host on my own server) but it got everything I need. Are these two programs the only two that can make 3d walkthrough out of 3d models?
Pano2vr
Yeah, love Pano2VR, I got a pro license and use it regularly with my 360 camera. Just fell in love with the WSAD keyboard movement and click anywhere to move in a 3D object
