Video Textures

Hi all,

I would like to have a video played on a wall surface. Is this possible? Am I missing something? I figured you would be able to just add it as a texture. I also though of using an animated GIF, but the animation doesn’t play when the GIF is applied. Any suggestions? It’d be great if I could just apply a mp4 to the wall.

Closest thing I made was an extension named Animatex but it only translate the texture.

@TIG made an extension for playing videos but not sure where it is… Maybe he can point to it.
