Vector Render mode showing items "behind" scene

Hi all,

I like to use the hybrid render mode with my models to show elevations. When I set up my scene, I position the camera on the floor with items behind the camera location.

Vector and hybrid render shows the items behind the camera. Raster does not.

Can you share your layout file or at least images of what you are seeing?

The elevations are where I am having an issue. I want to look at the shelving without the stairs shown.

@chrisfullen your forum profile indicates that you are using SketchUp Pro 2020, but in case you are actually using 2022 then perhaps this is related to a Position Camera change which was introduced in SketchUp Pro 2022?

In Sketchup 2022 on Mac the feature of using the Position Camera command in Parallel Projection mode to create a clipping plane does not work. This is serious because the feature is the preferred way of creating interior section viewports for dimensioning in Layout, as it is far superior to cluttering the Sketchup model with dozens of impossible-to-manage Section Planes. – Keith

You would probably get better results using a section plane.

Create a section plane with the camera set to Parallel Projection. That way you can control what elements are in your scene.
