Using free version on iPad without mouse or keyboard

Hi I use sketchup free for my hobby which is furniture building. When in workshop or outside I use iPad without mouse or keyboard and sometimes need to hide an item. I can’t workout how to hide an item. I can use the eraser tool but don’t see how I select hide mode as I haven’t got those options in the free version without a mouse or keyboard.

The web browser based SketchUp Free is really not designed to work in an iPad, it’s not officially supported and some things may be impossible to do. There is an iPad specific SketchUp app that works very well.

My suggestion would be to buy a Bluetooth mouse if this is how you want to use it. I tried various shortcuts just now to try and simulate a right click and couldn’t do it. It looks like there might be a way via the assistive menus in the iPad settings to simulate mouse keys, but I wasn’t able to do it without a keyboard.

15 dollar Bluetooth mouse will solve a lot of your problems in this case…

Endless is correct however, in that the SketchUp for iPad that comes with either the go platform or the pro platform is a much better program when using the iPad and the pencil. It is not free though, so I get it.
