Go to the Flowify page at Sketchucation and look at the documentation. It’s explained there.

Thankyou, I realised my design did not fit in the space required and has now worked, but did not follow round the whole banister? Are my connection lines wrong, I fol

lowed a tutorial and it worked for them?

Can you share the file? It’s hard to know just by screenshots what is the problem. There may be a better solution though, you can use a texture instead of generating more geometry that will not be appreciated.

In your other post, I explained what the problems are with your model and what you could do.

Hiya, I am 3rd year uni student and being stuck on this is getting me behind. I do not have time to re-do the whole thing, you have told me their is problems with it but not what the problems actually are?

Just read… ‘tiny edges’ are a problem. Did you search and read about this problem?

I recreated the railing model, with appropriate dimensions for all edges, and Flowify applied it without any problems.

// edit

Besides having a lot of small edges, you didn’t create one of the groups correctly, leaving loose geometries and separate groups. Follow carefully the tutorials on how to use Flowify.

I have now resolved previous issue, but still not working, you said that its because of the tiny edges is the problem but you managed to make it work? was that only when you scaled that larger? I can not change the design as its important part to my project

Read carefully what I wrote to you in previous posts and try to understand.

Watch Justin’s tutorial carefully at least once, he explains very clearly what you need to do, how and why.

Again:

  • tiny edges matter;
  • loose geometry matters;
  • correctly created groups matter.
