My old computer died so I just got a new computer and tried to start using Sketchup on it, however my MFA passkey was associated with the old computer and now I have no way of accessing that MFA passkey so I am effectively locked out of my Trimble/Sketchup account completely. I need to use Sketchup today for work but can’t find help anywhere on how to get back into my account to change the MFA settings so I can set it up on the new computer. Please help!!
hi, so, this is not an official support forum, you’ll get help from (mostly) regular people. meaning we can’t access your account ourselves
here is what trimble says about that :
if you have a secondary email set up, you can apparently get a one-time authentification.
if not, you can contact tech support here
https://help.sketchup.com/en/contact-support/technical-question/form
@Missa_g might soon be around, it’s still early in the US right now.
Thanks for the note @ateliernab ; unfortunately I didn’t have a secondary email setup so can’t go that route. I submitted a few technical support forms through that link already regarding this issue and haven’t gotten any response, so just trying all the different resources I can find (hence this post!). Hopefully someone knows has dealt with this before and knows how to get help
Hello - We’ve received your case in Technical support, and we will take a look as soon as we are able!
Hi @Missa_g , is there a phone # I can call to get assistance? I haven’t heard anything back from technical support and need to get this resolved quickly so I can complete my work today.
