Urgent: How can i push/pull these curved surfaces without a plugin?

Hello, im trying to make a curved shelf inside of a curved wall. I cannot afford the Fredo6 Jointpushpull plugin at the moment, so i would appreciate any help. Thank you

I have uploaded my file.

SKP file.skp (2.1 MB)

Draw the outline of the shelf on the ground? and use Push/Pull to pull it up vertically to the height of the shelf. Push the bottom up to the height of the bottom of the shelf.

thank you, but i actually want a shelf inside of the wall, not protruding from it. is there a solution for this?

Why didn’t you indicate that in your first post?

Model a positive shape of the recess you want to create and make it a solid group or component. Make the wall group a solid as well. Then use the native solid tools to subtract the recess shape from the wall group.

I did, i wrote that i wanted it inside of the wall itself.
thanks for your advice, is there a youtube video that can help me understand how to do this? i’m a beginner.

thanks

Sorry. It read to me that you wanted the shelf on the inside curve, not recessed into the wall.

You can look at the SketchUp YouTube channel for a video on using the Solid Tools.

I cleaned up this one wall group to make it a solid.

You have a fair amount of cleanup to do on this model. There’s some not great geometry. How will you be using the model? You might want to redo the walls using larger numbers of sides for the curves so they look smoother.

thank you so much!

yes the curves aren’t as smooth as id like them to be. if i redraw them do i just use lots of smaller curves or?

thanks again

Or increase the number of sides for each curve/arc.
