Upgrade from lap to tower

Hi, I am a intermediate SketchUp user and want to take the next step into rendering my models. I currently have a HP laptop with integrated graphics. It performs ok with SketchUp Pro but hangs occasionally. I know it cant handle rendering at all. So I am looking to buy a desktop that could handke both SU and rendering. Most of my models are deck/railing related. How would this perform? Does anyone have any experience with this Brand?

Process any modern game you want to run in exceptional capacity, whether you’re a fan of Call of Duty, Warzone, Valorant, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Apex Legends, Roblox, Overwatch, Minecraft, Elden Ring, Rocket League, and Diablo IV.

The questions would be: what is your expectation or goal in terms of rendering performance and what is your budget? Which renderer? CPU or GPU rendering or both?

Is it a coincidence?
Yesterday i received an advertisement for specialized sketchup/render desktop computers
Maybe you can get some inspiration from it?

I selected the “cheapest” and “most expensive” ones in the image below

Interesting to compare. According to the PassMark single-threaded benchmark chart the CPU in the cheaper option is only about 10% slower than the most expensive one. Many modern rendering applications support GPU rendering so the number of CPU cores is not terribly important. The GPU in the expensive setup is the fastest money can buy but ridiculously expensive (you can buy almost 3 of the cheaper workstations for the price). I would upgrade the GPU in the cheaper alternative to something like a RTX4070 Ti and have a practically as fast machine with less than half the price.
