Unwanted Workspace Reset

This morning, I opened a Sketchup model I had been working on just yesterday, and my my workspace has been reset. I did not recently reset my workspace. I use multiple monitors and prefer to have separate trays open to the sides to keep my main monitor dedicated to just viewing my model. With this workspace reset, I now need to spend significant time recreating all of my custom trays.

Why did my workspace reset to showing only the default tray?

Is there a shortcut key that I hit by accident?

For future, is there a way to save my tray configuration?

It sounds to me as if the file that saves your workspace settings was deleted. We’ve seen this in cases where SketchUp was not installed correctly. On Windows, correct installation requires right clicking on the installer and choosing Run as administrator. That will make Windows grant permissions for SketchUp to write the needed files. You could repair the installation. Find the installer, right click, select Run as administrator, and then Repair.

I’ll try, thanks.
