Unsaved models

Hi there , I’ve been using sketch up pro 2019 free trial for two days now , Yesterday I forgot to save my model and I closed sketch up but I have the autosave for every 5 minutes but i cant find the autosaved files or the backup Please helppp tell me how can i recover this filee pleaseee

Hello,
since 2019 version, autosaved files are no longer in the same directory than the model file itself.

paste this %LocalAppData%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2019\SketchUp\working\SKETCHUP\RecoveredFiles

in an explorer window

You can also find your recovered files upon sketchup start, through the welcome window (if you disactivated it, you can activate it again going to window > preferences > general > show welcome window)

Unfortunately, if you picked no when sketchup asked you wether to save or not upon closing, I don’t think you’ll find any recovered file for that particular model. You may want to try renaming the .skb file (in the same folder than the .skp file) into .skp and open it
