Uninstall Revit

I’m try to uninstall the the Revit importer but it doesn’t seem to stay installed. When I open up Sketchup to start a new session, there it is again.

When you open SketchUp it will replace the extensions that ship with SketchUp. There is a special folder where those are kept, and so only removing them with extension manager, or manually from the plugins folder, won’t stop them from being replaced next time.

To remove Revit or Scan Essentials you need to either run the installer again, or use Windows’ add or remove programs option and choose Modify.

In either case you come to a screen where you can modify the language and other options. You do have to step through the language options screen, but after that you see the checkboxes for Revit and Scan Esssentials. Uncheck those boxes, and let the installer run. It will then remove the extensions from the shipped extensions folder, and they won’t be replaced next time you run SketchUp.
