Cannot remove Scan Essentials or Timble Connect

I have a client using Sketchup 2023. For some reason Scan Essentials keeps coming up with an error during startup and sketchup slowly halts to a standstill.

I don’t have the error at the moment, but when we tried to uninstall scan essentials it just keeps coming back the next time we start sketchup. Tried uninstalling through the extension manager multiple times, and also by deleting it from the 2023 plugins folder, and still it just keeps coming back. How can it be removed completely?

Could you please check the following folder : C:\Program Files\SketchUp\SketchUp 2023\ShippedExtensions
In this folder are a few “native” SU extensions, including Sandbox, Dybamic components or Trimble connect.
These extensions (from that specific folder) are indeed automatically re-installed in the %appadata% plugin folder if there are not existing.
If Scan essentials is in that folder it will be reinstalled the next SU start after being uninstalled from the Extension Manager.

You can get rid of it by deleting the “su_pcp” files and folders from the ShippedExtensions.
