“Explode” in other software that I use means separate the objects so people can see how they fit together!

You can also create an Exploded view drawing in SU, which means just this too.

@DaveR often shows those. Here’s just one of his:

An exploded view of what? There are a couple of plugins that will move objects away from each other but I find they are more trouble than help for creating proper exploded views for furniture and other projects. I find it easiest to make them with the Move tool. Example: [Screenshot - 1_18_2022 , 8_17_23 AM] The lines drawn from the pegs are shown as dashed lines in LayOut.
