I could only recover components, materials, and layers, the scene is empty. The file is nearly as big, so it may be that you have some components that include large parts of the scene. Look through the components to find the bigger ones, and rebuild the scene from those.

Look in the In Model Components. Youâll the components Colin referred to. Youâll still need to reassemble the model by bringing the components out into the model space.

The model was very complex and I worked on it for two days ⌠It is not clear to me why this happened. this is very frustrating. Anyway, there is a link here to some files I saved of this model and they are not all opened. Is there any hope of saving him?
It seems that most of the time when files become corrupted as yours is, the best you can hope for is components, materials, and tags which is what Colin recovered. The most common cause for this seems to be a Save routine that fails due to a connection problem when the file is saved to a network or cloud location. Have you been working on files saved directly to the cloud?

At this point that makes sense. You should at least be able to pull the components out of the Components window so at least you wonât have to make or download them again.

Good luck. Save early and save often. Might not hurt to use Save as⌠once in awhile and give the file a new name to make incremental versions.

I have the same âUnexpected file formatâ crash. It is only file I had. I couldnât find any autosave files, then main one (.skb), and it acts the same. So both files .skp and .skb are crashed.
Please, can You check if it is possible to get anything from this file, because there is two weeks of work behind it.
