I’m unable to install SU 2025. I receive an initial message saying “the wizard was interupted during install”, and then receive a separate message from installshield saying “another instance of this setup is already running. Please wait for the other instance to finish and then try again”. This is not the case.
I’m hopeing this a common problem with a quick fix?

I get this too, due to a slow launching machine. Apologies in advance for suggesting this, but confirm with Task Manager.

Same here, and the task manager ‘fix’ did f-all. There’s a problem with the installer.Gonna go back to v2024 because I must work.
If there’s a problem with the installer, why isn’t everyone having the problem? Everyone gets the same installer, after all.
Why is there a 32bit version of sketchup in 2025?

I think that is common with Windows installers. A 64 bit installer run on a 32 bit system wouldn’t be able to tell you that it’s not going to work. A 32 bit installer run on a 32 bit system can tell you that it’s not going to work, and it can still install a 64 bit application on a 64 bit system.

It’s only the installer, as Colin explained. The last 32-bit version of SketchUp was available for v.2016 or 2015.
you should check the release notes for this one.
