Please allow us to toggle this feature. I do not want additional steps for simple tasks. Removing an established, intuitive system that worked is a regression. Introducing this change without the ability to toggle it off has left me wondering why user work flow was ignored in this fashion, and if this is indicative of the developers attitude to further ‘innovations’.
