Trying to resize my plan

I’ve done this a numerous times but just imported plan and can’t rescale.
I use the tape measure and normally a pop up comes up but it does nothing other than add a guide!
Anyone know how I can solve this?

Are you clicking on endpoints at each end? In what form is the plan you imported?

Thanks all… Yes pressed option first and I’ve uploaded a PDF and screenshot. I’ve used the PDF on a previous project so this is baffling me. I remember years ago it used to glitch like this … :crazy_face:

Solved thank you!
I saved as a new PDF
Pressed Option ( as suggested) as the dotted line was showing on the tape measure and then it worked.
