Trouble with Delete Key in SketchUp Pro After Update

I recently updated my SketchUp Pro and I’ve noticed that the delete key doesn’t seem to be working properly anymore. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, do you have any insights or workarounds to share? Through Mcdvoice homepage, customer or participant can give his honest opinion (positive or negative feedback) to improve product quality, service, store quality & norms.

Please correct your forum profile. You wrote there that you are using the Free Plan which is web based and not Pro.

Some other users have reported this although for most others it doesn’t seem to be a problem. Delete works fine for me.

What language are you using with SketchUp? What keyboard localization? Are you using a standard extended keyboard?

Make sure you installed SketchUp correctly. Close SketchUp, find the installer, right click on it, choose Run as administrator, and then Repair. Reboot the computer and see if that helped the Delete key thing.

I experienced the same thing. Here is A solution that seems to work.

Install the Windows PowerToys application which can be found here-

Start PowerToys and open the Keyboard Manager window. Here you can remap the Delete key to the Delete (Numpad) key and vice versa. This essentially swaps the keys and will resolve the problem until a permanent patch can be created.
