Trobleshoot with GPU + CPU mode



With Vray 3.6 I’m having different results when I use the CPU and the GPU, I can’t seem to be able to use textures with high resolution, the GPU doesn’t seem to recognize all of them, images appear blurred after 2000 pixels per side I have a GTX1080 and a Quadro K4200, with just the CPU images are just fine.

the first is just GPU, the second GPU + CPU and the third just the GTX 1080


Whats the time savings for GPU only or CPU+GPU? A lot of mac users have integrated graphics cards and don’t have that option. I’m curious as to why you don’t just use CPU only.
