Trimble Outage? Can't Log Into SketchUp Due to Server Error

I’m getting Trimble outage notices when I try to log into my SketchUp account… I can’t get into my software to access my license… so I can’t run the software. What’s the latest? Anyone else? Thank you!

What version of SketchUp are you using? Please complete your profile. Are you still using Windows 7?

There are some outages reported right now. I expect they’ll be sorted shortly.

Same here. Can’t log in.

For the same reason I already gave.

Me too, Sketchup Pro 2022 on Apple.
Seems he cannot find my subscription.
Lots of problems trying to login. Cannot find the server.
After persisting 300 times, signed in, but cannot use it.
Keeps telling need to by it !
Filled in the form, hope they will contact and solve the problem.

Look at the link I provided in my first reply in this thread.

There is (was) still a server problem for me. No report about it though.

What message are you seeing?

I was seeing the above message (it was having trouble uploading).

The issue was resolved in another post thanks to @dezmo. I had to

" . . .navigate to the login.session.dat file using the pathways below and delete that file:

For Windows:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\SketchUp\SketchUpEnter Version 2022\SketchUp

For Mac:

Click the Go menu, and then hold the Option button and you should see “Library” appear in the dropdown, select that folder:
Now you should see Application Support > SketchUp 2022 > Sketchup . . . "
~Login Errors (SketchUp.com)

Maybe it’s worth saying it’s a typo on that page, you can copy paste this on Windows to File explorer bar to get into the right folder and locate the login.session.dat file for deletion:

SketchUp 2022:

%AppData%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2022\SketchUp

SketchUp 2021:

%AppData%\SketchUp\SketchUp 2021\SketchUp

…etc…

Totally worth it! They are trying to point out that you need to select the appropriate folder according to the version of SketchUp you are having issues with, but that could be confusing.
Good Point :+1:

For Mac users, Finder, Go menu, Go to Folder…, works with these paths:

SketchUp 2022:

~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2022/

SketchUp 2021:

~/Library/Application Support/SketchUp 2021/

Yes I had this same problem, spent time on chat with a third party that cost me to chat and they said it was because of my firewall, to turn it off, not willing to do that I asked for a refund and quickly turned my computer off and back on and voila! it works now, to turn your computer off and back on…

That kind of third party should pay you instead for wasting your time.

If it was a free program it would not be a big deal, it’s far from free so fix the problem in the product we are all paying for

where is menu in finder? what folder? little more specific would be a help
