Hi, it s incredible that in 2024 version the problem with trimming solids is still present. Why can t we trim like in the 2022 version, I mean to choose the first solid and than to trim multiple others that intersect. Is it so hard for trimble to fix this problem???. Quite disappointed.

Yes, this is extremely frustrating. I noticed if you click the trim tool again, it remembers the first selected item, but this still entails so much extra clicking than the way things used to work. I wish they would fix this.

It is indeed annoying, even though it’s been reported multiple times.
You can either add a shortcut to the native trim tool to speed up the process, or install free eneroth solid tools (available in the extension warehouse) that works just the way it used to be.
You’ll be able to trim multiple times without having to bring the dedicated tool again

Can someone help me trim sheet metal to roof pitch?
Probably, but not unless you share the model. How are you using the model in the first place? Maybe a texture would make more sense.
Is this what you mean by “share the model”? We design Pole Barns and would like to figure out the best way to change from one Pole Barn to the other (height/width/length/roof pitch). I’m pretty novice to Sketchup. Thx Did a pic appear?
