Hello! Can plugins be transferred from version 2022 to version 2023? If so, how? Thank you very much for your response.
It’s not advisable to copy the plug-ins from the skp 2022 folder and paste them in the skp 2023 plug-ins folder, it’s possible that some plug-ins may not work or could cause crashes. What I do is use the sketchucation store plugin, if you have it installed on the 2022 version and install it in the 2023 version it will ask you if you want to install the plug-ins you had on the previous version but downloading them from their store, so the plug-ins are up to date. This method could not install all the plug-ins you had, depending on where did you acquire them, it will only install plug-ins available in their store, for the rest you have to do it manually.
Hi, is there a way to transfer 2022 warehouse to 2023? I have like 100+ models uploaded and to upload every single one would take me so long, unless there is no other way
When there is a file format change, the 3D Warehouse models are updated automatically. The SketchUp file format has stayed the same since version 2021 so there is no need to update.
Oh thanks a lot!
That was one of the motivations for the new format: converting every new file to every old format was taking steadily increasing processing time and storage space on the warehouse servers.
