Not sure if this has been a problem for anyone else, but I am working on a rather humble poster and wrote the text in Word. When I copied and pasted it into Layout I was no longer able to edit it. Reshaping the box just distorted the text. I have copied text from online sources and never encountered this problem. I was always able to edit the text and reshape the text box with the text adapting to the new shape.
Is there a work around you can suggest?

You shouldn’t copy and paste into LayOut. Instead save the text in a .rtf file and then use File>Insert to add the text.
