Toolbar docking

#1

cannot get the “large Tool Set” to dock at top of menu bar in SU2015

#2

Neither can I.

Workaround is to right-click on the toolbar and add the ones you want.

#3

The “large Tool Set” cannot be docked. I tried too. I wonder why?

#4

Because y’all have not been reading the Release Notes.

Since SketchUp 2014 it has been size fixed and vertical only.

  • Changed the Large Tool Set on the PC to be fixed at 2 columns and to dock vertically.

#5

i did that after writing the forum. thanks for replying.

#6

But it should dock, right?
I can’t seem to get it to.
Some trick to it?

#7

It only docks to the left or right.

#8

No. It shouldn’t dock to the top. There’s no trick to it. The Large Tool Set is only vertical and only docks on the sides.

If you have to have it at the top, make your own custom toolbars. You’ll need to make two in order to get the two rows.

If you having difficulty docking it on the left, push it a little “harder”. It will go. Of course this is a PC thing only. On Mac the toolbars don’t dock.
